In case, you haven’t watched the movie Annihilation. You really are missing out on something. The movie beautifully depicts self destructive nature of human beings. How we have the tendency to destroy ourselves and the nature. It shows how depression can take your mind to self destruction and ultimately to your end. It also touches onto the subject of betrayal. Sometimes you don’t know if you are the same person anymore after doing something you never imagined yourself doing. You hate yourself. You lose yourself. I had many interpretation of that movie. Some movies definitely hit home. This was one of them for me.
